Matt Dixon

Director

Hailing from Ambleside, Matt joined the company in 2002 and went on to earn a Masters degree in Commercial Property Management from John Moores University also becoming a member of the NAEA. Appointed company director in 2006, Matt manages the Ambleside office, where he is the valuer and senior negotiator. Of his work, Matt likes the variety of properties transactions that the company handles and the different people he meets along the way. The combination of both desk work and being out on the road ensures every day is different.

Jack Irwin

Director

Local to the area, Jack joined the company in 2007 while completing his degree in Property Management & Investment. He later became a qualified member of the NAEA and a company director in 2019. Jack manages the Windermere office, where he undertakes valuations and is the senior negotiator. Of his day to day work, Jack likes that as a valuer, he sees so many beautiful homes across the Lakes, meeting some great owners and hearing their stories. In his spare time, he enjoys running, keeping fit and weekends away exploring with his family.

Adam Anderton

Director

Local to the area and based in our Windermere office, Adam joined the company as a director in 2018 to establish and develop the residential lettings department, where he now heads our team. A registered member of ARLA Propertymark, he handles valuations, lettings and management as well as undertaking specialist block management enjoying the fact that each day brings a new challenge. When not looking after other people’s property he enjoys family time and when possible, a round of golf.

Jo Bond

Director

Local to the area and working in property valuation and sales since 1991, Jo specialises in the valuation, marketing and sale of prime properties across the Lune Valley, North Yorkshire and South Cumbria. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1993, Jo joined the company in 2022, becoming a director in 2023 and manages our Lancaster office. Jo loves that no two working days are the same. She’s fascinated by the way properties and people’s lives intertwine, and she enjoys the creativity involved in marketing a home. Above all, she’s driven by helping both sellers and buyers achieve their goals.

Janet Clark

Property Consultant

A long-time Ambleside resident, Janet has been with the company since 2004. Responsible for arranging new listings and accompanying viewings, Janet also negotiates and progresses sales, as well as managing the day to day running of our Ambleside office. With exceptional people skills, Janet enjoys matching people to properties, offering a service that’s second to none along the way to make sure the whole experience is a pleasurable one for all concerned. When not getting people moving, she loves walking in the hills and valleys of the Lake District, preferably with a lovely country pub at the end.

Kayleigh Pugh

Administrator

Originally from the west coast of Cumbria, Kayleigh joined the Windermere office team in 2025 with a background in customer service and administration gained in the hospitality and healthcare industries. She supports the valuers and negotiators in every part of the sales process and says that she enjoys the variety of processes involved in selling houses and the amount of organisation required to provide the best transaction for both seller and buyer. The result being that no two days are the same keeps it interesting. In her spare time, Kayleigh enjoys music and concerts, baking and when possible, travelling.

Living in Ambleside

For those with children, Ambleside is well-equipped for their educations, with a primary school placing a focus on outdoor learning in the beautiful surroundings, as well as a choice between the Lake School and the private Windermere School for secondaries.

The town itself has a thriving economy built around tourism, which also ensures plenty to do for local residents. And, of course, it’s surrounded by beautiful countryside which offers wonderful walking, hiking, and climbing trips.

Ambleside may be a tourist town, but it’s a wonderful place to live in all weathers.
